Naki Wins an International Energy Innovation Competition

The startup Naki won an international competition for energy innovation at Energy Tech Week. The win brings international exposure and opens new opportunities for partnerships and investment. The conference is considered one of the central events in the energy and climate space in Israel, with dozens of investors, companies, and entrepreneurs from around the world.

Naki developed a process that converts industrial oil-rich waste into energy. The process is based on biofuel production, focusing on reducing industrial waste, advancing a circular economy and lowering carbon emissions. The technology enables turning waste streams into a usable energy resource.
Energy Tech Week took place in Tel Aviv, initiated by Ignite the Spark, and gathered hundreds of key players from the industry. As part of the event, the “Israeli Energy Tech All Stars” competition featured 10 startups presenting their technologies to leading investors and venture capital funds. The event also included professional panels, investor meetings, and the launch of Israel’s 2025 energy tech ecosystem map.
